Karl Rosén
Rosén acts in a wide range of large and complex commercial and regulatory matters, with a particular focus on corporate matters and the financial sector, assisting clients on business development, regulatory issues, investigations, corporate governance, securities law, transactions, including restructuring/financial workouts, and corporate and commercial litigation. He has also extensive experience in liaising with regulators and conducting regulatory enforcement litigation.
Rosén has in-depth knowledge of financial service regulation, company law, insurance law and financial collateral and insolvency law. He is frequently asked to issue legal opinions and perform assessments in these areas. He also has vast experience acting as arbitrator in corporate and commercial disputes.
In his approach Rosén focuses on understanding the various interests in play, quickly recognising the relevant issues, identifying appropriate solutions, and taking an active stance on the strategic choices involved, all to ensure the best possible outcome for the client.
He has published a number of books and articles within company law, securities law, collateral and insolvency law and financial service law, and among them the legal commentary to the Norwegian act implementing Directive 2002/47/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 June 2002 on financial collateral arrangements.
