Lars Horgen Hinze

Horgen Hinze has been providing transaction advice to Norwegian and international businesses for 20 years. Although he specializes in M&A, he also has considerable experience of capital market transactions and asset management.

He advises a wide range of clients and regularly assists well-reputed industrial enterprises and private equity firms. In the past few years, he has led several of the firm’s largest and most complex M&A assignments for clients in the energy, technology and forest industries, as well as the retail and service sectors. Ergo acquires Storebrand Health Insurance

We are proud to have assisted ERGO, one of Europe's leading financial conglomerates in insures, with this acquisition. The transaction was signed today and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2024, with an estimated positive impact of approximately NOK 1.1 billion on Storebrand's Group results.

Arntzen de Besche have assisted AnaCap with an agreement to acquire EDIGard

Today AnaCap announced their agreement with with Nets, part of Nexi Group, for the acquisition of EDIGard, a leading platform provider of distribution and payment services in the Nordic. We are proud to act as legal advisor for AnaCap in this agreement.

The Norwegian Competition Authority approved Norturas aquisition of Steinsland & Co AS

Today The Norwegian Competition Authority approved Nortura's acquisition of a controlling stake in the hatchery company Steinsland &Co. AS. The authority's decision comes after a four month long process.

With assistance from Arntzen de Besche, Swiss Life asset managers acquires the real estate business of Ness, Risan & Partners

Arntzen de Besche has assisted Ness, Risan and Partners (NRP) with the separation and sale of their real estate business to Swiss Life Asset Managers. The acquired business will retain the location in Oslo and its 39 employees. The acquired business will in the future operate under the Swiss Life Asset Managers brand.

Arntzen de Besche has assisted Castik Capital with the acquisition of Element Logic

We have assisted Castik Capital with the agreement to acquire a majority stake in the Norwegian company Element Logic. Castik will jointly own the company alongside Element Logic's founders, Dag-Adler Blakstad and Kjell Blakseth, the company's management team and employees.

Shearwater Geoservices acquires streamers and vessels

Shearwater GeoServices Holding AS (“Shearwater”) today announced two transactions to take over marine seismic acquisition assets previously owned by Polarcus, from Tiger Moth AS, a company affiliated with Woodstreet Inc.

Bonnier Books acquires 70 % of Strawberry Publishing

Arntzen de Besche has assisted Bonnier Books AB in the acquisition of 70% of the shares in the Norwegian publishing group Strawberry Publishing. Petter Stordalen and the three other founders retain 30% of the ownership and operations continue under the current name Strawberry Publishing.

Arntzen de Besche assists ABAX in acquisition

Arntzen de Besche has assisted Investcorp backed ABAX in connection with the acquisition of Automile, a Nordic SaaS telematics and IoT company company. The agreement was announced on 13 October 2020.
