NewsArntzen de Besche has assisted Lime Petroleum with the acquisition of ten percent of the Yme field
We are proud to have assisted Lime Petroleum in purchasing Kufpec’s ten per cent share of the Yme area in the North Sea, for around NOK 670 million. The purchase was completed on 23 December.
Lime announced the purchase of Kufpec's share in August 2022. The operator for the Yme field is Repsol, and the other partners are Lotos and Okea. After the sale to Lime, Kufpec will be out of the field.
The production level at Yme was 13.000 barrels in desember.
- The development phase at Yme has been challenging and the field has experienced several shutdowns in 2022. The production level is now increasing and we expect Yme to be on plateau production in the second quarter of 2023, estimated at around 35. 000 oil equivalents per day, Lime Petroleum writes in a press release.
