We have one of Norway’s leading departments within public procurement and assist both suppliers and clients in public transport procurement processes. We provide advice throughout the entire process from tender submission to any claims and litigation processes regarding tender competitions, and in issues related to the performance of a contract.
We regularly handle cases concerning state aid law issues in relation to the transport sector and the framework for compensation in public sector contracts, both related to passenger and goods transport by boat and ferry, and passenger transport by bus. The transport sector faces competition law issues in connection with market power, access to infrastructure and cooperation. We are involved in a number of acquisitions and mergers in the transport industry that have been approved by the competition authorities.
